Review | Dragon Marked

My first review back, I've been procrastinating when it comes to getting online and typing this review. I first read this book beginning of the year, maybe a few weeks after it was published. But it was through Kindle Unlimited so i sadly i couldn't keep the copy i had. So can you imagine the excites i got when i saw this on Netgalley. I'm definitely not one to reread lol (don't judge me, it's hard for me to go through a book that i already know. Makes it very easy to see if someone has copied someone else's book though) so this review is going to be a throwback of sorts.

The Review

Let me comment on the cover first. This is a totally new cover and it's not too much of a change, just a few things adjusted and the top half completely different but i absolutely love it more than the first one. Even the wolf looks abit different even though it's the same but with just a little colour added into the mix. LOVE IT!!!!
I absolutely loved Jessa's relationship with her boys The Compasses. And from the very first page I'm hoping Jessa and Braxton are mates. I was going from page to page saying (mentally ofcourse) 'let them kiss now or wake up and know they're mates. Shoot just let them kiss already'. But apart from my love of romance, this story hooked me on the dynamics within their mini pack. This story takes place in a supernatural community so you know there are hundreds or even thousands of people but these five have this amazing bond and would be willing to go to prison for each other (and break each other out if needed) gosh that is friendship!

There were so many angles and players in this game and twists that you definitely wouldn't see coming. Like who's trying to set up the boys #raisedeyebrow lol gotta read it to find out. Jaymin wove this into something so captivating and emotion capturing. It's been eleven months now since i first read it and without rereading the story i can still remember the elements i loved from it, that is talent. Jaymin Eve is definitely talented! Go get your copy if you haven't already, you will be singing this book praises too and it will leave a lasting impression on your brain. I can't wait for book 3, of course I've already read book 2 i wouldn't be much of a fan if i hadn't.
